Every website that I build is optimised for search engines from the start. I design content management system (CMS) websites that are structured for maximum SEO benefits and also very easy for clients to edit and add content if they wish.

The price of web design largely depends on the size of your website and how much work is initially needed. The below should be read as a price guide only. Most people however want to know how much a new website will cost. The table below shows some typical offers.
Web Design Price Guide

Website SEO Prices
This is ideal for those who already have a website designed by someone else that it isn’t performing as well as it should do. I offer on site SEO (changes to your website) and I actively encourage blogging and social media.
A typical SEO Package would look like this:
- Initial assessment of your existing website and SEO
- Keyword Research
- Optimisation of your website to target three key search phrases
- Build and submit a sitemap via Google Webmaster Tools
- Create and administer on a weekly basis a Facebook page that links back to the website.
- Create and administer a Google Places account and Google +1
- 6 Updates to content of website /Facebook per month
Although I don’t tie people to an SEO contract I would strongly suggest that it’s something you look at for at least 3 to 6 months. The price for SEO varies from £80 per month to over £1000 per month depending on many things such as how competitive your market is and what geographical areas you are targeting.
SEO Example 1
Keyword = Dog Groomer
Target Area = St Helens
Cost = £80 per month for 3 months
SEO Example 2
Keyword = Loans
Target Area = UK
Cost = £1500 per month ongoing
You see the difference? Example 1 targets a niche market where perhaps only 30,000 results will be brought up in Google when a search is performed. In Example 2 we are covering the whole of the UK and in one of the most competitive markets, a search for “loans” will return over a billion search results all of which want to be on page one.
