Website Design or SEO?

As you may have gathered by reading through this website, my main activity is Website SEO in St Helens, Wigan, Warrington and around the North West so that they gain at least a first page position on Google™. Having said that, Website Design is also a service that I offer to businesses across the North West UK. Naturally each website designed is optimised for search engines from the start. I build content management system (CMS) websites which are structured for maximum SEO benefits and also very easy for clients to edit and add to if they wish. ( I can also manage the website content each month for a low fee if you prefer).

You may have something very specific for your website design in mind. If so then let me know, I get asked a great deal about how much it costs to design or SEO a basic website. With this in mind I’ve compiled this brief list of offers. If you have something else in mind that you can’t find here then by all means get in touch. Even if you are to design your own e-commerce shop or website and just want me to advise on making sure that it’s search engine friendly then I’m happy to do that sort of thing too. The price largely depends on the size of your website and how much work is initially needed. The below should be read as a price guide only.

Bronze Website SEO Package

This is ideal for those who already have a website designed and live but who realise that it isn’t performing as well as it should do. The package is monthly with no contract although ideally I’d advise this to be ongoing, the minimum period I would recommend is 6 months. The package includes

Initial assessment of your existing website and SEO
Optimisation of your website to target your two main key search phrases
Build and submit a sitemap to google
Link building with relevant websites including DMOZ (used by major directories)
2 Updates to content of website per month if required

Price from £180 initial fee + Optional £80 per month SEO and Maintenance (no contract)

Silver Website SEO Package

Again, this package is aimed at those businesses who already have an existing website. This package is perhaps the best one if you really want to get ahead of the crowd. With the Social networking aspect of the package and the Google Places account your website should really start to work for you.

Initial assessment of your existing website and SEO
Optimisation of your website to target three key search phrases
Build and submit a sitemap to google
Ongoing link building with relevant websites including DMOZ (used by major directories)
Create and administer on a weekly basis a Facebook page that links back to the website.
Create and administer a Google Places account
6 Updates to content of website /Facebook per month

Price from £200 Initial fee + Optional £130 per month SEO and Maintenance (no contract)

Gold Website Design and SEO Package

This package is ideal for those who either have a terrible website and wish to start again or who simply don’t have one as yet. I can do a full CMS web design for you using the WordPress system click here to see a WordPress example. In fact, even this site was built using wordpress. We can quote for designing bespoke websites and ecommerce sites too if required. The package includes:

A five page website designed and optimised for 5 main search phrases (others will occur naturally)
Photographs taken if required for the web design
Sitemap created and submitted to Google
Link building with all relevant websites and directories
Facebook page links and other social bookmark links if required
Blog/ News section
Google places account
Facebook page and administration of the same
Google plus one enabled (read this article on Google +1)
Eight updates per month to Facebook content /blog/ website

Price from £480 Initial cost + Optional £180 per month SEO and Maintenance

This is the option to go for if you don’t yet have a website or we agree between us that your existing website is beyond redemption. We can build in different functions when we design your website if required. Some clients require a Facebook and twitter feed which I can maintain on your behalf as part of the optional monthly fee. All this can be discussed and included if required. You may need more pages, you may need less. I’m flexible, let me know your requirements and we can take it from there. Your new website will be designed and optimised for search engines at the design stage and SEO will be ongoing. I can also look after your entire online presence including blogs, ebay, content management, social networks and all other online promotion.
